For example; the Xbox 360 is using a dvd duel layered, which gets you about 8 gb. Which is compared to the massive Blue Ray data storied is 25 to 60 gb!!!!!!!! this is very importain! The graphic that the programers been wanting to but on is here and ready to kill, also give what us true gamers, the best and kickass graphics out there! This destory the dvd and hd dvd for the Xbox360! Also to use hd dvd disk you need a other cd drive, and extomal. This cost more money, then the ps3 not need this. This makes the xbox 360 cheap short run but costly in the long run. The ps3 cost alot in the front line and cheaper to run in the longer run. Also for me owner of the discontuned 60gb ps3(cost 850) played all my older ps2 games and more. The cost of the gold package for the xbox360 internet cost $$$ over time it adds up alot. while the ps3 is free to go online and comes with alread instande d/g wlan REVIEW BY: Game gear Reviewed Mar 22, 2009 Well whats to say about it a great consle, 512m of mem, Nvidia RSX video card the Cpu from a cellphone, these many porblems inclueding over heat witch the blue-ray player went out then when i RMA it i got it back with a formtted hard disk now i think the video card is over heating becuase i getting artafacts but i get them here and there oh i for got to mention it can trun off randy WTF!!!!! any way you got thing to worry about a great console!!! You can stream pictures movies and music from your PC or Mac to it and enjoy them on a big screen. You cannot however play PS2 games with the newer 80gb model. Even with the software download it will not work do to lack of hardware I tested this and it simply will not work, but who knows what the future will hold. You can however play allot of PS1 games, with up conversion and smoothing which makes them look amazing. Thanks TD for amazingly fast shipping REVIEW BY: Reviewed Feb 20, 2009 this is a great machine, its blue ray player is great , you change its hard drive and install linux too. the graphics are not that differenced from the 360 , but it looks great on hd. you can even install hulu. the only downsides are that playstation network sucks, trophies are crap compared to x box live, installing every game you buy, the price, and no matter how many times i download the ps2 ps1 upgrade, it never works.
