CAPACITIVE TOUCH SCREEN

The TECLAST T50 S:Flo is one of the first MP4 Players to fully utilize the capabilities of a capacitive touch screen. With the S:Flo, navigation is made easy, from simple point and press to enter menus, to using your finger to scroll through your music, making it easy to find audio tracks or images. The screen is both pressure and heat sensitive, allowing for varied speed of scrolling depending on how fast your finger moves over the screen. The screen supports multi touch, allowing you to use your fingers to ¡®pinch¡¯ images to zoom in and out.
Underlying the touch screen panel is the stunning WQVGA screen, with a screen resolution of 430x240, both still and moving images look pleasing to the eye. The WQVGA screen also allows for wide range of viewing angles allowing for pleasurable video watching no matter what awkward angle the screen may be positioned.

SOOTING THE BEAST WITHIN

There would be very few people to say that the S:Flo did not have fantastic audio quality, which is entirely due to the Wolfson WM8987 independent audio chip. The WM8987 audio quality is widely accepted to out perform many major brand name players which cost two or three times more than the S:Flo. The S:Flo also supports Microsoft PlayFX equalizer, a specially designed EQ that helps to enhance the quality of your music. The PlayFX EQ has been specially adapted to work with the RK2706, something that no other media chip currently has. The player also has preset EQs and the ability for a custom user EQ. The player also has the ability to resume from startup the last point you were at in an audio file, great for those that like to listen to audio books.

THE HANDHELD CINEMA

No restriction, no limitation, no propriety video format restriction - the TECLAST T50 S:Flo is capable of playing multiple video formats AVI (DIVx/Xvid), RM, RMVB, FLV, ASF, WMV, MPEG-1/2/4 and 3GP.
Not only is a multitude of video formats supported, but the RK2706 powerhouse also allows for hi-res video playback, so videos in a resolution of 800x600 or less (with audio of 600kbps or less) do converted down, just copy the video file to your player and watch. Even watch videos downloaded from You Tube directly on the player without any further need for video conversion. Even hi res videos are able to play at 30fps, allowing for smooth video playback. Don¡¯t worry if you aren¡¯t able to finish the video that you¡¯re watching, the TECLAST T50 S:Flo will remember where you last left off and start your video from that point the next time you watch that video file.

Easily find your music through automatic sorting by Artist, Album, Genre etc via the players ID3 tag support.

FM RADIO

The built in FM radio receiver allows you to listen to your favorite radio stations.
The player also has the ability to save your favorite channels. The player can also record
from FM, so be as sneaky as you want and record those latest hits right off the airwaves.

eBook Reader

Import any of you eBooks that are in TXT file to read on the player. Changeable options allow
you to adjust the font size, auto scrolling and book marking to your own preferences. An optional
firmware also allows for Text To Speech (TTS) support, the player will read out aloud your eBook to you.

VOICE RECORDER, GAME EMULATION

The integrated microphone allows the S:Flo to double as a dictaphone, capable of multiple hours worth
of audio recording. The TECLAST T50 S:Flo also allows for viewing images and through the players multi touch
capabilities you can zoom in, out and pan with just the use of your fingers. With no restriction in what files
you can have on the player, you can easily use any excess memory to store files and documents, making
the S:Flo a mobile mass storage device for your data. There is even an optional firmware that user can load
which comes packed with games, from standard Tetris to scrolling fighting games to NES, GB and SMS emulation,
the optional firmware allows users to add a little more spice to their S:Flo (Please note the games are in Beta, that
is why the firmware is optional).
